LIPTON YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
MARCH 10, 1999

Meeting called to order by President Giuliano at 8:00 pm at the Lyndhurst Polish American Hall. Reading of minutes from previous meeting, no additions, deletions, or corrections. All in favor. Call of roll for delegates: Absent; Americas United, North Bergen, and Hoboken.

President's Report - Frank introduces representative from Macedonia S.C. They wish to join the LYSL in spring division 3A on friendly basis. They will bring in more teams in fall. After brief discussion, motion by Lyndhurst United, second Ridgefield Park to accept Macedonia. On vote, all in favor. Macedonia to fill bye right now and will become full member in fall if they bring in a second team. Delegate Walter Sajnoski c/o MSC 97 Ackerman Ave., Clifton, NJ 07011 - Home Phone 973-478-0069.

Vouchers were given out for MetroStars promotion event: June 12 is Lipton Day at Giants Stadium, division 1 Boys and Girls championship games to be played prior to MetroStars game that date. Even though there have been many notices posted about the vouchers, many teams were delinquent. Secretary Jim Verdino will make follow up calls. If more tickets are needed for Lipton day on June 12 (parents etc.) call Joe Bucci at the MetroStars office, or call Frank. Bring all remaining monies for your vouchers to April meeting at the latest. If you mail in your check to Joe before hand, he will mail your tickets to you.

The MetroStars will give a coaching clinic in the bubble at Giants Stadium, time and date to be announced.

Vice President's Report - Charlie reported on upcoming dinner dance, March 20, 1999, at the Wayne Manor. Hope all will attend, any last minute changes, Charlie had only a couple of days left for final arrangements. Door Prize donations will be appreciated

Treasurer's Report - Al reported on outstanding bills, league fees and fines. They must be paid by season's start.

Games Chairman (Boys) Report - Dan reminded all the up to date schedules is available on the LYSL website - http://www.liptonysl.org - revised schedules for each division distributed. Dan also reminded all that there would be no games on Mothers Day.

Games Chairman (Girls) Report - Ken stated that the only changes in the girls schedules from an earlier version is in Division 1B. All other schedules are GOOD.
