PRESIDENT'S REPORT - Frank reports that the F.C. Talons (Hopatcong) have made application to join our league, after brief discussion motion Stallions, second Nutley to approve them. On the vote, 23 yes 4 no - motion carried. Frank read a letter he had written to our sponsor (Lipton) notifying them of the leagues new name. METRO YOUTH SOCCER LEAGUE. This was done after our league attorney conducted a search of state records to see if the name was available. The NJYSA will also be notified as to our new name. There will be an F license course on 8/25-26 at the Wayne PAL, advise Frank if you will have any attendees.

A question was brought up on the floor about our league playing Saturday games. Both PASCO and Hawthorne need Saturday games because of conflicts. After lengthy discussion it was stated that this was a Sunday league and if opposing teams cannot accommodate with Sunday games the schedule stays as is. This decision caused the withdrawal of both PASCO and Hawthorne from our league.

Frank advised that there is still a possibility that the USSF will mandate that all select players be surcharged $6 each. Clubs will be charged accordingly in their assessment from our league.

A change in the Jersey City Youth delegate - Amato Marra is back and welcomed, and Matteo Percontino is welcomed back as Hoboken delegate. Check the website for their address and phone numbers.

VICE PRESIDENT’S REPORT - Charlie advised that all info for the new journal must be in by next meeting or the old info will be reprinted. This information is important because it has the latest field and delegate information, which is utilized by all members. If the information is incorrect it causes needless problems.
