Basic skills: Ages 8-10.
Will concentrate on Passing, trapping,
juggling, heading, dribbling, shooting and throwing the ball properly. Corner
kicks, penalty kicks, goal kicks, free kicks, passing and moving to space and
playing as a team.
Intermediate Technical skills: Ages 10-12.
Will learn about positions
on the field “goal keeper, defender, midfielder, forward, etc. and the specific
job for each position”. They will also learn about line ups “4-4-2, 3-5-2,
4-3-3”, offensive and defensive corner kicks and free kicks “setting up the
wall”, and playing as a team.
Advanced Technical skills: Ages 12-14.
Keeping the ball on the ground
and possess it as much as they can, defending and attacking as a team, checking
back to the ball “all positions”, playing with the ball and without the ball
“moving to space and taking defenders with you”, covering for each other when
is necessary, setting up plays for corner kicks, free kicks, and playing as a
team.
Tactical skills: Ages 15-18.
Will be working on tactics and techniques
needed for improvement of the team, enforce weight lifting “it is easy to get
hurt when you are not strong enough or fit.” Putting pressure at the right time
“do not let the player from the other team think,” play your soccer style or
the style that fits better for a specific game, e.g., “if my teammates are short,
I will not play balls in the air,” get them ready for the highest level “College
or Professional soccer,” and playing as a team.

MAXIMO REYES: Former
Peruvian national team player. He is the current head coach for the Roma Soccer
Club. Maximo played for several professional teams in different countries, Peru
“Club Alianza Lima”, Venezuela “Estudiantes de Merida FC. He also played “Copa
Libertadores de America” in different occasions. Maximo has extensive coaching
experience with players of all ages. He is USSF Licensed.
CARLOS GUIDO: Current soccer player for the Roma Soccer Club and a
former professional soccer player. Carlos played for several professional teams
in Peru “Sporting Cristal 1st division, Club Alianza Lima 1st
division, Alianza Atletico 1st division, Deportivo Guardia Republicana,
Cienciano, Juan Aurich, Deportivo Municipal”. He also played “Copa Libertadores
de America”. He has an extensive coaching experience with youth players and is
USSF Licensed.
HENRY SUAREZ: Current professional soccer player for the New Jersey
Stallions and Roma Soccer Club. An All American soccer player while at Raritan Community
College. He is the former assistant coach from Passaic Community College. Henry
has an extensive coaching experience with youth players. He is USSF Licensed.
JULIO REYES: Current professional soccer player for the New Jersey
Stallions and Roma Soccer Club. He also played for several professional teams
in his native country Peru, Alianza Lima 1st division and Deportivo Aelu
1st division and played in Panama for Euro Kickers FC 1st
division. He also played 2 Concacaf Cups while playing for Euro Kickers and
Sporting Colon from the Panaman 1st division. Julio has an extensive
coaching experience with youth players. He is USSF Licensed.
FRANK GIULIANO Jr: Former professional soccer player for the New
Jersey Stallions and current semi-professional for the Roma Soccer Club. He
also trained with Perugia, a division 1 team in Italy. Frank Jr. is currently
attending Rutgers University. He has extensive coaching experience with youth
players and is USSF Licensed.
IZZY SEMA. GK Trainer: Current soccer player “goalie” for the Roma
Soccer Club. He played professional soccer in Holland for Harlem Kings and Ajax’s
youth program. Izzy worked as a head keeper trainer for the youth keeper
program of Harlem Kings while playing in Holland. He is also a former All County
and All League soccer player at Wayne Hills High School. Izzy is a graduate
from William Paterson University with a Business Degree. He is USSF Licensed.
